Hilton has launched a new booking site in Bahasa Indonesia.
The launch of the new site marks what is now the 23rd language that the hospitality company’s booking sites are available in, adding to a list that already includes Chinese, Thai, Japanese, and Korean.
The site is now live, enabling Hilton Honors members to log in and maximize points for hotel bookings through it.
“With the steady economic growth and political stability, Indonesia has been seeing an exponential rise in the middle class, and with it a huge increase in Indonesians travelling,” said Nils-Arne Schroeder, Hilton’s regional general manager, for Indonesia and Timor Leste.
“Reports also state that many Indonesians are choosing to spend on travel experiences over certain consumer goods, and across our hotels we have welcomed many Indonesians who are traveling both domestically and internationally,” added Schroeder.“The launch of our Bahasa Indonesia website is testament to our commitment to making sure we are present where our guests are and it is one way we look to cater to their needs by making their bookings even easier for them,” he said.
At present, Hilton operates five hotels across three brands in Indonesia, those being Conrad Hotels & Resorts, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, and DoubleTree by Hilton.
During the course of the next three to five years, the company has plans to more than triple its presence with 16 hotels slated to open, the first of which is the Waldorf Astoria in Bali and Jakarta.
